Roses are red, I gave my love
A handful yesterday, among
Friends and chaps of old, days
Pondering, wither women and their
Dresses, up the wind blows, as I
Hold these stems tight, and
Massage my forehead,and go
On, my day, pausing throughout,
And bring to water, roses for
My love.
