Poor ol’ Uncle’s
gone an done it, axed
statuesque Ms. Liberty.
Whack! Hack!
He’s offed an arm!
Screech! Slash!
She’s lost her head!
Chop! Plop!
Liberty’s not got
a leg stand on!
Now, arrested through lawsuit,
ol’ Uncle’s protestin
HE’s a hapless victim
who’s lost
his inalienable freedom
to express
constitutional
proclivities.
