The Color of Prayer

I lose the thoughts
as they ping
      and whirl,
chase through my eyes.
Like pinballs,
they light up,
      and the dingdingding
sets my watch.

Caught in the glare of
furious love,
      I swallow the rage
with piss
yellow
prayer.
