How to Keep Your Mind Occupied?

I wonder which one the truck driver will pick
for his trip to Ruidoso, NM:
chocolate donuts or white donuts,
Paydays or Airheads, M&M’s or Recess?

Circle K is known for its various sweets,
and not just for its hot dogs and potato chips.

Three bags of white donuts and a case of purified water
is what he was supposed to pick,
except he went to use the restroom.
After zipping his fly, he proceeded to his trip,
his gasoline tank already full.

It gets boring, standing by the cash register.
To pass the time, I make guesses on what customers decide to buy.
If I am wrong, at least I get a good laugh,
especially when I’m standing outside the store
without any money only an “Anything Helps” sign.
