my hands are cold
driven by the thought
the feeling of
my thumb
on your
ear
fingers touching the
nape
of your neck
We eat
and drink
and
share
ourselves
open
This is where foundations
are laid
your hand in mine
under the blanket
fingers dovetail to
comfort
this is comfort
satisfaction
simplicity
Hand in hand
feet wrapped in
a subtle braid
I rest my head on
your bosom
you pet my
head
we
relax
An evening spent
doing
nothing
is
everything
