Raised by cold snakes
Now feels his teeth
Getting sharp

And the boy that once danced
In the arms of the wind
Kneels at the feet
Of false idols

While the man in the box
Has run out of ways
To find anyone willing
To listen

As the beating heart
Of a changing world
Seems out of step
With itself
