She’s taking me
on the Town again,
all beer and chasers,
being jostled from
bar to bar.
Pissed ‘n’ pickled
by ten o clock,
me soakin’ it up
with a greasy kebab
before floating around
the pubs ‘n’ clubs.

Then
morning,
and a banging head-
damage done.
A technicolour toilet yawn;
her wishing she hadn’t,
me waiting to be .........
.........born.
