hanging by scotch tape, sticky visions in her head
& son’s got a good job till the factory closed
So he joined the army to fight someone we don’t know
      & the KFC ain’t chicken
      & the tits aren’t real
      It’s an oil pump economy
 built on sex-appeal
      The rock & roll is automatic
      & the car runs on blood
      You can save your soul
 but do you believe in love?

Mommy lost her pension so now she’s doing porn
They’re stroking it to the footage of you being born
& if it don’t make you sick then look at what we’re eating
We’re fed like a baby-bird, but who does the chewing?
      & the KFC ain’t chicken
      & the hero’s are dead
      The babies wanna be gangsters
      & kill what’s sacred
      Well so be it, but
      let’s not kill each other
      Think what you’re gonna build
 before you set it all on fire

Cause after the apocalypse when there’s Marshal Law
we can see who we eat first when we draw straws
To taste human flesh when nothing is left
When we’re cutting up that food, oh buddy I hope that it’s you
