He holds a BA in ancient history from Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio), a Masters in Medieval history from Hebrew Union College (CIncinnati, Ohio), and a Doctorate of Divinity in Jewish and Christian Mysticism from the Jewish Institute of Religion (Jerusalem, Israel).
