On A Rainy Day

It was late afternoon
A dark and cloudy day
Caught in a downpour
We took shelter
In the shadow of an archway
We laughed at the sight
Of my drenched hair
And your soaked jacket
Then we looked at each other
And the moment felt right
I could taste the rain on your lips
And suddenly
I began
To believe in love again.
