i am always the one
that cares more
no matter what it seems
i think it’d be easier
to feel nothing,
at all,
but that’s just not who i am;
don’t know how they can put so many
oceans between us
expecting me to swim them all
i am a good swimmer but even swimmers
drown—
as i fall beneath the water
no one saves me
i just die and die and die and die
when all i want
is to live and live and live and live.
