My spirit pushed and pulled in all directions
Trapped in this bed
With the ghost of all the hands that touched you
And all the lips that whispered your name
As you bound and gagged them with
Promises of love to be made
Longing to escape this flesh filled prison

I can no longer tell the difference
In this realm of mind and body
That belongs not to me but to every part of your soul that entered
Where my emotions and feelings are bound
By your affection that you choose to withhold
At will

Souls interconnected, woven and laced
By the dance our bodies make
Forever living on in the make-up of
Who we are.
