My mask has an alarm call coming
My mask will explode and I’ll be left
with pieces of my persona
like a victim of yesterday’s ideology
like a sudden reincarnation
that doesn’t quite take
I am half ghost
half revelation
moon to a dead sun
And who are you
are you unmasked too
We are the no ones at all
who abide renew
so alone
in this sudden gasp of truth
