Bio
Danielle Hark is a writer and artist who lives with PTSD and bipolar disorder. She is the founder of the non-profit Broken Light Collective that empowers people with mental health challenges using photography. Danielle’s poetry, essays, and art have been featured in various publications, journals, anthologies, and exhibits, including the NY Times, Huffington Post, Upworthy, Tulane Review, Litro, and High Shelf Press. She has been featured in documentaries and news programs on BBC and NBC, and speaks publicly on the mental health benefits of creativity, including a TEDx talk.
