How it fell, yellowish;
effortless -
taking an air of freedom
from the verdant branches of a tree
squeezed
crumpled down, lifeless.
It had owned
all the breathing space, earlier;
alongwith the chirping brethrens, but
Alas
fate was heavier on its side -
It rooted down invisibly into the fertile soil
Rustling a wave of new life
