You cut my chest with the edge of your gaze
and I bleed upon the gentle mountain
blushing with the overtone of my fears.

I see the remnants of my soul floating among the debris
of a fatal crash amongst the gaping craters sleeping
black into the abyss of our forgotten days.

Pieces of what I once was seek shelter from their same
conscious of lives past too painful to revisit
they carry with them the faces of wonders shared.

But there is no danger in the absolute communion
merging with the infinite blues of a confident heaven
cuts and scrapes and bruises they all melt away.

The razor of perilous moments is powerless to pursue
what this world may desire to curve the future
into an end drowned by a river of blood and tears.

I fly wingless entity forward to a certain destruction
to be reborn with the promise of eternal life
above a canyon filled with bright destinies.
