So, in just one day,
the papers tell us
that
• One minister states emphatically that God made Trump President
   but the Devil is trying to take back the country
• Another that the fires in Australia were caused by God anger
   at the country’s behavior
• A Christian terrorist is charged with fire-bombing a
   Planned Parenthood building

Where do we get these whackados?

My theological explanation is that
such religious fundamentalism
is God’s contiued punishment –
the real “Original Sin” – for
Adam’s disobedience in the
Garden of Eden (Genesis 1)

You might disagree and opine
that the reason for such idiocy
through the ages is that we
are all descended from incest

I still think that we’d be OK if
Eve didn’t eat that fucking apple
