There’s new graffiti
on the guardrail
at the big curve.
I still miss you, it says.
And then sprayed
over the first bill,
as if to try to push
the world back
into balance, in blue:
Let go, my friend.
I want to think
that it somehow
worked out this once,
but I don’t even
know the words
to that song.
