Tom Ball

Strange creatures will walk the earth
Very beautiful creatures
But not humans
And who knows what these creatures
Would do
Or care about

Perhaps the whole world will be a giant
Work of art
And these beautiful creatures
Will live in grace and grandeur

I see a tower at the end of the universe
10 km high
Sparkling in a binary star system
A Golden sun tower
Beautiful views of a beautiful landscape

The beautiful creatures there compete for beauty
Which of them can do the most beautiful things
Which are the best

And the tower rests on top of a volcano
Which erupts regularly but the tower
Is made of new strong materials
To resist the lava flow

Smoke is everywhere occasionally obscuring
Views from the tower
