Grandma’s Photograph

    Grandma Estelle has a picture of a strange man hanging above the mantle in her living room. She’d found the picture shortly after Grandpa John passed. She claims that the strange man had appeared to her in her dreams and told her to hang his picture. Fighting her fears, she did as she was told, or so she says.
    Of course, there’re a few of us who believe the photograph is of a man she once pined for before her marriage to Grandpa John, but we keep this to ourselves.
    The picture makes her happy, so we let it be.
