i am unbecoming
everything
that isn’t me,
embracing
the chaos and the beauty that
is me and my magic;
knowing that my heart full
of love and soul full of dreams
are worthy of whatever
universe i walk into because
i was born for a
purpose—
some days are heavy and hard,
but i refuse to give in
to my darkest thoughts;
i know i deserve my place in the universe
won’t surrender my power or my life
to anything or anyone—
ancient and immortal daughter of the moon
i am going to shine even on the darkest days
because i am more than the pain that tries to
carve me into ruin,
i am tied to both the next and past worlds;
have no fear of the future—
i am the future and i will shine.
