What you’re doing.
What am I doing?
You know perfectly well.
I don’t.
Don’t lie to me.
I’m not lying.
Then stop it.
What am I supposed to stop?
That.
What is “that”?
I won’t say it again.
You didn’t say it the first time.
Don’t be a smartass.
I’m trying to understand.
You’re being a smartass.
But...
And don’t “but” me.
Tell me what you want me to stop.
What you’re doing.
I’m not doing anything.
Then it should be easy to stop.
How can I stop if I don’t know what I’m doing?
You know what I mean.
I don’t.
You do.
You’re not making sense.
I don’t have to.
Why is that?

“Because” is not an answer.
Because I’m your parent.
That’s ridiculous.
Don’t talk back to me.

What would you suggest?
Try listening for a change.
And then what?
Then stop what you’re doing.
I have no idea what you want.
I mean it this time.
That’s what scares me.
I don’t deserve this.
Deserve what?
Deserve a kid like you.
Maybe you do.
Why would you say such a thing?
