Each Birth

Even in this lifetime, we’ve lived and died
whenever we have lost a loved one,
relocated or changed image,

either willfully or unwillingly;
gone through ravages of hurricane
or uprooting by tornado.

When friends or family leave or abandon,
we become suffering swan or goose,
isolated in night mourning.

Thus, if this is so, now on planet Earth,
should we not believe we’ve lived before
in other roles, places & Time?

But, many do not recall Long Before
to avoid reliving joy or pain;
yet, must we be blind to present,

which may or may not be perceived as gift
until we transmute, transfer, transform
to realize we choose each birth.

Even in this lifetime, we’ve lived and died
whenever we have lost a loved one,
relocated or changed image.
