I is the host in hostility ties
self & others in knotted bondage
for reasons anger Jealousy.

Long arrows of venom shoot with rage
that which is distantly envied
like a childish spiral of spoken lies.

Even worse when one wounds family
member with whom you’ve shared many memories;
more cruel than balls thrown at man in cage.

Can you chalk up war to full moon in sky?
Not if one drowns in waves at sea,
pushed overboard by siblings not magi.

Are lives of warriors empty
that they must hurl such filth and sewage?
Have they forgotten their sad mother’s cries?

Words as bullets have done the damage.
No way will the same crow return to fly.
Old bonds become scattered debris.
