you’re sitting in the shade
on a perfect june morning
the sun is shining its
wisdom on everyone
the blue sky is protecting
everyone from what lies beyond
the dark green grass
is still damp from the
nightly dew that brings
nature back to life
day after day
the soft breeze caresses
your skin and brings along
a feeling of exhilaration
some of the greatest
pleasures in the world
are summer
