someone explain to me
why a t-shirt company
prints the phrase “TAP OUT”
everywhere, and people
want to buy it.
I’m sorry, but “tap out”
is what losers do
in a wrestling match
when they can’t take
the pain anymore
and they want to quit.

They tap out.

So why do people
want to purchase
and wear a t-shirt
that advertises
that they want to quit?
