biele hánky

Janet Kuypers poem “white knuckled”,
Slovak translation by Katarina Fiserova in 2012

Horúci vzduch sa lepil
na jej kožu takmer ťahajúc
šklbajúc jej
mäsom,        ke f; prechádzala
von        dolu schodmi
z vlakovej
stanice. Vtedy
ju udrel horúci a lepkavý
vánok
tým nesprávnym spôsobom
zavadil        o jej
šiju a ona
znovu cítila jeho dych,
nie jeho dych
ke f; ju znásilnil,
ale jeho        zápach
horúci        odporný
ke f; bol
už blízko pri nej.
Jej dych zrýchlil,
ako ke f; chytila
dych, po tom čo
prestala
plakať. Všetky emócie
sú tam stále,
nejdú preč. Prejde na
spodok
schodov, zábradlie
s bielymi hánkami jej
malých nežných rúk,
rúk dieťaťa,
a ten tridsaťdva stup”ový
vánok jej rozbehá po tele
zimomriavky.
Hovorí sa, že ke f;
máte zimomriavky znamená to
že hus prešla
ponad váš hrob.
Ona to vie lepšie. Ona vie
že to je jeho
chôdza, a že on
uväznil, to dieťa v
tom hrobe.
