An Opening Because

An opening because
We’re sharing air

Just as intellect’s
Only about half
Of who we are: #10
Being also one and nothing.

Yet spark/spirit at heart
Of your name
Is also how I can only access
Myself through what you most want
To hide. Snake in groin that’s beginning
And end of a timeline, becoming
Me as your external appearance.
I can’t see my own light!
I have to settle
For manifestation of time, form.

Making love with my wife
Is as close as I can get to me
So I have a Devotion to the part of her
I’ve never left. Amazing how #1 can be
In two different places. That space
Keeps them the same. I don’t mind containing
All of the emptiness. I get the wings
And she gets the spine.
