An Angel named
Robot Con taught me to play

Drunken, pretend drums,
Next to my own boom box

Eyes, with the love-starved bones

Of my Indian brother
I couldn’t protect.

Demonic buzz.
The songs seemed so much
Heavier while under the
Influence of being named

“Writer”

By feeling sound.
I’m not really feeling anything.

But the femin-energy

That joins eyes and ears
Makes the masculine poem.
