Content Is Love

Mark Fleury

O content of internal Light,
Your form is a subjective

Devil, Planet Reality,
Floating in a room.

Then he sees a window,
And he becomes Angel,
The doorway leading to it.

Dharma, it seems, is another
Synonym to Muhammad and Christ:

To hold. Embraced between

Content - seen outside the inner window,
The top of the high –

And form, Muse,

Is this poem
Holy Spirit-thing.

This high, the teaching,
Drinks in the impressions
Of the poem like the ground.
Its context is all known forms.

The window, a synonym
For listening, is an enclosed

Inner opening that shows
The extension of the Soul,
From the external world
To Mind, eternal life.

Earth, syllable, Demon,
Dying wheel, heart of sound,
Is less real then the dream
That is the slave to forgiveness
Of unfaithfulness to content:

The Light outside
The inner window. Ground.
Together, content and Muse-form
Are the intellect that pattern
The universe in the heart of naming
Either Muhammad or Christ, both
The same possession of the side
Of the syllable that is God.
The other side of it, the Devil,
Is only the confusion, already
Forgiven, that love isn’t the content
Of all forms: Mused.
