Heaven and earth
Penetrated by
The retracted
Atomic liquid light:
At first this underwater
Godspace was thought,

By mental travelers,
To be a giant jellyfish.
But then odd numbers,
Synonyms for consonants,
Vibrated against the even

Vowels, and Muse/Christ/Angel,
Wired to me, remained below
My listening to the root
Of the line.

My past lives misunderstood.
It’s space itself, Muse, here, preceding
Light, dream and real.
Right before my eyes, you are what’s more

Than the red, shared by heart, dusk and dawn.

Poem, God, I’m your One Thread, content

Enslaved, burning all the way through
To the end of the tree’s grave,

Healed as Muse, Mistress of all
Of the wounds in the universe mirror.
