Mere children
Of the future now comes from

Is you Zen Queen, vast
Naked Holy Ghost, what the gently dying

Thought looks like;
Maybe an asterisk, the risk
Taken by a star. Six spoked,

Seventh centered

Where the red ink heals
Into a tongue between

Speech’s entrance –

And ‘Exit’ sign –

From within door’s shore
To dark, bottomless stairwells

Of mountain peaks, I shine

On the echoes too. The valley

Is the shape of your skull’s

Clouds, bosom of blood-veined
Leaves that fill a blue bowl sky.

I cried on the way down,
With each air-conditioned stair

A cold cored tip of a hair
On the top Trinity Time Star
Of my Queen’s head.
