My Plate, Full

Mark Fleury

My plate, full
Of the door ray leading
From Devil’s heart
To space sun ship,

Is the opening Grail’s crack.

There is a sound on high
That projects its beam to where
My head is the center
Of the backside of the page;
The poem seeps through from behind.

Form, door-way verb,
Brought together with all
Outside it by breath, opens

At the threshold of the line, sun stem.

No need to swim,
Against the flood’s
Strung, crimson setting.
The flames that dawn

At the angle of each drop of water
That falls from the fishing net
Are where blues of scales
Touch greens of gills.

Caught to slap boat floor wood,

They’re reflections that correspond
With the Angel’s on God’s dish. Disk.

Trying to be the Angel
Makes the Devil its core,

So I’m ready, like a light turned
Off, to be taken in, consumed
By the sun in your mind;

The heart of that level
Of vibration Saved Serpent
Is transitioning toward.
