Seeds of sound

In the light, sewn. Feminine opens,
Empties the place toward

Turning wheel, letting
Brick have its solidity
In wall.

Ice its cold. Basement

Its Angel’s Name. Bend
Yield. Field dawn.

The farmhouse that endures
This winter’s lowest spring
Is boundless, allowing dank cold
In cement and underground
Floor to circle icicles with

Rainbows in broken glass. Angel’s Name
Shown where wall and floor meet.
The color of its death is from

Seeds of sound.

Thought as mortar impresses in me
The most awareness to hold
Them all together as a community.
Does each brick have its own

God, a syllabled-spine as hard
As each of them are, over this
Abandoned land? Clamor of Eternity’s

Reflection, raw city, is
In me now, its spin on sunned
Glass and steel

Feelings this thing, offering for
The cycled order in your head.
