The aching simile
Worn, like jewels, by the smiling

Content of sunrise-colored,

Word-laked, sky-high balloons,
Leaked liquid rainbows into the essence

Of dusk. Air held
Their liquid, floating shadows,

Changing shapes at the edges
Of the winds’ listening,

Opened, hearing a pot’o’gold

At the end with ink’s drifting

Green hills, and disappearing
To the dance of clouds and sun.

Covered, lit, as much with an atomic
Vibration as with skin,

These forms are all of my body,
Mused in you, content, holding together
A universe with a sound I see;
Nowhere to drift to or from.

All forms are good.a
