The Same Where That She

Mark Fleury

The same where that She,
Sound Queen, heals from the top
Of my head into her lowest

Center: the Earth I worship.

My sky wings,
That’ll see through the blue
Clouds
And fog,

Will, if I die first,
Return to the shaft
Of light that holds our one
Body together.
Breath bridges:

That the devil, the external world,
Is a wounded Christ,

The one beam, preceding thought,

Manifesting as our different spines.

He asked his Muse, Sound Queen,
How form could be less real
Than emptiness.

She replied: “It’s because your wings,
The essence of your thought, aren’t two,
They’re flapping zero, space itself.
Outside anything less than
That thought, opened hub,
Where I’m at the end of time,

Isn’t here.”
