I Learned to Part My Far Right...
Mark Fleury
I learned to part my far right
Hair, with the mark of the Beast
In the scalp, from another Puppet.
His face was carved from wood
Doors that I have to wait outside of
Before confessing my mistakes to the sunset.
I don’t like waiting so I shout jokes.
Besides, there’ll always be
Mother to clean up my speech mistakes.
The black ink sun saturates the snow.
Its quicksilver is in an antenna,
Changing with the weather.
The TV sings while undressing
Crucifixions of strangers’ projected evils.
The TV bows after its performance, showing
The top of its head, with silver streaked
Black hair spinning
Too fast to separate opposites.
