One of those double-edged swords,
great for really
rapid communications,
no paper involved so more
trees are alive, I suppose. On the
other edge, if it doesn't work
it can be frustrating as hell, because
simple normal folk
can't fix it or make it work.
I recall when I
was a kid, and the TV would
go on the fritz, my Daddy would
open-up the back, pull out a couple
of dusty old tubes,
bring `em on down
to the hardware store and
plug `em into a tube checking
gizmo, find the bad tube
then buy a new one for a buck 25.
Nowadays, well,
you know how it is.
