Some things i once wrote iąd like now to unsay
so we could laugh at the way
i used to throw the energy i felt
away from desire; and into penmanship, to put it
that way.
But now, out loud,
over and beyond these hieroglyphics,
when we finish our coffee,
we can pack up and hit the street.
It does some little good to reminisce,
as a further page flies by in hail.
I am with you now as sound lands on the city
and everybody looks about expectantly.
