Good Gifts We Cherish And Endear
Offering Us Happy Holiday Cheer,
Until The First Of The Year !

New Years Day We Settle Down
And Return To Our Normal Way.
The Postman Bring Forth A Frown,
Delivering Christmas Bills To Pay.

We Now Make Our Solemn Pledge.
Not To Charge Christmas Anymore.
This Pledge Begins To Hedge,
A New Christmas Nears Our Door.

Can We Control This Buying Urge ?
Some How We Know We Must Yield.
To Our Hazy, Crazy, Holiday Splurge.
