PARENTS

When I Was Young I Was Somewhat Wild.
This Is To Say I Was An Average Child.
My Parents Worked Hard Earning A Living.
I Did The Taking, While They Did The Giving.
Those Quarrels I Had With Good Old Dad,
He Was Usually Right And That Made Me Sad.
Now That Iım Older, I Am Really Glad
That He Cared When Something Was Bad.
Then Of Course, There Can Be No Other.
To Take The Place Of My Sweetheart Mother.
Without Her Love And Personal Relations
I Could Not Survive Life's Temptations.
They Worked Hard Through Life's Endeavor.
I Love Them Now More Than Ever.
My Love Grows Stronger Each Passing Day.
How Can I Thank Them?, What Can I Say ?
I Say That I Love Them In Every Way.
And My True Love, I Will Forever Convey.
And For The Gift Of My Parents,
To The Good Lord, I Will Pray !
