good-bye
clean up the
litter in the barn
straw, leaves, news-
papers,
rake it into a pile
cart it up +
spread it on top
the bones’ burial site
Potatoes are dug
Tomatoes canned
meat is smiked
salted frozen
The snow starts
Now alls I
do is cut + haul
