happens in houses

spoken runs from
pillow to pillow may
be while we sleep
like mice in the wall
forms the field of
apples and elderberry
into a sea of glazed
green reflecting
more colors than an
ordinary prism then
the birds come you
drift all day in and
out of yourself
fly until a car churns
up thru the gravel
like lights going on
at the end of a
movie
