I came here tonight
looking for you.
As a calmness settled
within my heart

you’re not here.
Smiling down upon me
your reassuring presence
holds me tight
without a touch,

to that special day

but as for now
I have work to do -
so in my heart
I’ll carry you,
that’s where

I know you’re there
with open arms,
