At night is when I am
drunk as pain.
(Like Our Stella,
I am bored
with this routine
and so) during the day
I stagger
with (unfortunate)
recollections
of the night before.
It would be so nice
to be able to feel again,
if just for a pause
this first parade of senses
might cease.
