ross is a racist
who flies the stars&bars
from his front porch. ross
doesn't care about my songs,
poetry or politics.
r.d. is a rainbow warrior
who proves it every month
by beating his drums&gums
at the readings.
r.d. cares about the things
i do. he says he doesn't want
to save me from myself.
if i had no choice
between the two,
were I forced to pledge allegiance
to one flag or the other:
ross, you may not be PC,
but keep 'em flying,
brother.
