Why I Write...

I write because I made it
a requirement of my life..

At least, to record for
posterity’s caustic wit,
life’s benign amusement

For sake of gaps accentuated
between teeth; writing to
avert my heart’s clogging

& mind’s frequent wandering;
I’m writing for my life...
