Arousal

By Peter Scott

You laugh at me
Touching my skin
Using only fragrant words of truth
You implore me
To plead at your knees
Licking a trail to the truth
Then you tell me
Sexy thoughts
Like the reason your dress sits by the floor
And your panties on hand
Only in my imagination
You tempt me
Reminiscing with the future’s tale
Sit me down for a theatrical rendition
All in the head and
Yes I adore
The the direction in takes
Embarrassed though my confession

It’s not the purpose of life
I repeat to myself
Quietly falling
Under delusionous spells
The calmness easing worries so deep
You want something I didn’t know to give
Stereotypical in its truth
My belief
Fostered long ago
Remedied the need for speed
Now what a decision
Without lust in the pocket
Rising consequently to cast fervor in me
Lo and behold
You are the one so bold
Unleashing the subtle inhibitions
A tempest foreign in the painted land
Brightly colored from altruistic expectations
That none thought to follow
But me

Now we traverse
The forbidden terrain
Climbing from mountain to mountain
Caught in thick jungles
I do not despair
For this is the homeland
A place for comfort and space
Someplace formed in the wild
On your bed
In the woods
Or near suburban lust
Created brick by brick
And lasting for eternity.
