Postscript
By Peter Scott
Seventeen poems
Written in two short days
A landmark
One I shall never forget
Tired
Happy to complete
Yet melancholy with my goodbye
So short and sweet
This gift I now bear to you
Represents hours of work
Scrawled with passion
Love's devotion
I mean every word
Have reacquainted the feelings to pen
Am glad to have undertaken his project
No matter how incomplete.
I love you.
