To My Knees PRIVATE
Remembering those days when it was so
hard to even get out of bed, I can now
enjoy our new freedom of walking without the
unbearable pain we've endured for years. We can
move at last with ease and grace. You no longer need to be
aspirated by that long needle that could break an elephant's
tough skin, and I don't have to take all those pills:
Oridus, Daypro, Sulfasalizine, or the Methotrexate that make me deadly
ill. It's such a relief to make it through the
day without crying at the end. We no longer
abide by the rules of pain, we can
relish life, walk
through the woods, and see the leaves change,
hear the birds sing, and breathe the cool,
refreshing fall air. Remission brings such an
intoxicating feeling, a feeling that we can accomplish all the
tasks we've wanted to for years. I can only
invite you to enjoy this new freedom and say thanks for all the
support and help'we made it.
